The Place Of The Week Is…

 

 Ms.Raki class. Her class is also known as the computer lab. She has 23 computers. She makes Brain Teasers and scavenger hunts every 9 weeks. Ms.Raki teaches something new every week. Last week was the Magic Box. Ms. Raki’s class is the best!

 Red Lobster’s is the place of the week. When you first walk in you see lobsters. They have tape on there mouths though. They have very good food such as, fish crab legs, and much more! For there advertisement they have YUMMY biscuits. They also sing happy birthday if it’s you birthday. That why Red Lobsters is this weeks place of the week!!!

Steak n’ Shake is a restaurant that has good food. This includes the famous Steak burger and skinny fries. If you are 12 years old and under, you get a kid’s menu. They have delicious burgers, fries, desserts such as a cookies and cream milkshake. They serve food up until 11 o’clock and drive through is open all the time. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat, you should stop by your local Steak n’ Shake!   

 

The place of the week is… Texas!!  The capital of Texas is Austin.  The population is 22,118,509.  The governor of Texas is Rick Perry.  The state hood of Texas is 28 state admitted on December 29, 1845.  The motto of Texas is Friendship.  The nickname of Texas is the lone star state.  The state song is Texas our Texas.  The state bird is Mocking bird.  The state flower is Bluebonnet.  The state tree is Pecan.  Now here is a story about Texas… Texas owes its name to the Caddo tribe- and the Spaniards.  During the Spanish exploration of Texas in the 1540s, the Spaniards met the Hasnai Caddo tribe in presedentday East Texas, the Native Americans used the word tay shasfor ‘friends’ or ‘allies’. In Spanish, the translation came out as Tejas.  Eventually, Tejas became Texas.    

The place of the week is Six flags white water the tornado, you drop down in your

Tube and spin around 20 times.  It seems sweet.

 At white water now is under water literally.  I would not like to go there, today.

The place of the week is Mrs. Joseph’s classroom. Her

Classroom is the first class in the third grade hallway.  Her classroom has an overhead.

It is about 8 feet wide.  She has about 20 students.
